Start your kids and teens on their aerial journey! Youth aerialists build strength and confidence in the air, practice teamwork, and get the chance to perform in showcases and competitions.

Aerial Arts Summer Camps
Ages 6-15 | No experience necessary
Dates:
June 1-5 and 8-12
July 6-10 and 13-17
August 3-7
Price: $250 per week
Weeklong camps are open to all levels and campers, and are perfect for families with big summer plans.

Kids 4-Week Aerial Sessions
Ages 6-15 | No experience necessary for Level 1 students
Level 1 Silks:
Wednesdays with Bayley B. at 4:30 PM
Wednesdays with Kelly at 5:45 PM
Thursdays with Bayley B. at 4:15 PM
Level 1 Rope:
Fridays with Jen at 4:30 PM
Sessions run monthly!
Price: $150 (4-week session)

Youth Flying Trapeze Summer Camps
Ages 6-17 | No experience necessary
Price: $275 per week
Dates: June 15-19 and July 20-24
Time: 10 AM-12 PM
These one-week sessions are perfect for first-time and experienced youth flyers! Students practice swings, try new tricks, and show off their skills in themed end-of-camp showcases.

Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:45 PM
Fees: $250 per month (doesn't cover uniform or costume expenses, or comp fees)

Frequently asked questions
Yes! You may enroll your student in multiple camps or 4-week sessions at once. Completing a level 1 session, however, does not guarantee readiness for level 2. It's not uncommon for students to enroll in consecutive sessions.
The Varsity Youth Company is an audition-only team. All aspiring athletes must participate in the audition process, have completed at least one JV season (unless arranged otherwise), have a headshot and resume, and complete a skills test.
Starting requirements include the ability to complete:
8 pull-ups
8 toes-to-hands
10 push-ups (not modified)
5 straight-arm inverts
Auditions for the 2026 season are on May 16, 2026, at 12 PM, and the season will run from September 2026 to May 2027.

The JV Youth Company is an audition-only team. All aspiring athletes must have completed at least three months of aerial classes, have a headshot and resume, and participate in a skills assessment.
JV auditions will be held in June 2025, and the season will run from September 2025 to May 2026.

To help you better understand your athlete’s growth and progression in our youth aerial silks program, we've outlined the skills each student learns in Level 1 and must be proficient at before advancing to Level 2.
These benchmarks help ensure students develop strength, technique, and safety awareness before advancing. Completion of a Level 1 session does not guarantee placement in Level 2.
Level 1 skills:
Shoulder shrugs
Make a knot
Wrist wraps and wrist locks
French/dance and Russian climbs
Single foot locks in the air: figure 8s and egg beaters
Single foot lock to candy cane
Double foot lock in the air: figure 8 and egg beater
Double foot lock to cross-back (straddle invert)
Full hip key and Russian climb hip key
Catcher’s hang
Salto (360) from a knot in the fabric
Basic belay
Level 1 expectations:
All skills must be performed in the air from at least two climbs
Skills must be completed on both right and left sides
Skills should be performed proficiently without a spot
No drops are taught in beginning youth classes unless they are from a knot
Level 2 skills:
Students must complete four (4) 8-week Level 1 sessions before progressing to Level 2.

Level 2 expectations:
All skills must be performed in the air from at least Level 2 height

Four-week sessions are non-refundable within 24 hours of the start of the first class. There will not be make-up classes available for missed sessions.
Registration for 4-week sessions will be open until the start of the first day of class. Registration is first come, first served.
