Director and Owner

Sam Buckmier

Sam (trapeze artist, aerialist, dancer, choreographer) is the creator, artistic director, and choreographer of Circus Vision. Sam has been doing flying trapeze for 7 years now and has performed with Fly!Boise, Emerald City Trapeze, Pneumatic Arts, and The Flying Cortez. She has been an aerialist for 17 years and has performed on Silks, Hammock, birdcage, pole, duo trapeze, and duo silks. She has been dancing for 20 years and has performed with Rainbow Dance Theatre, A-WOL Dance Company, Pure Dance Company, Off Center Dance Company and Redlight Variety Show. She has also been a choreographer for 17 years. She has choreographed for dance teams, modern dance companies, aerial artists and flying trapeze shows.

Team Member

Aidan Transtrum​

Aidan is an actor, aerialist, and a great enjoyer of bad jokes. Originally from Boise, he's been living in New York City attending the Stella Alder professional actors conservatory and couldn't be happier doing so. He has been doing flying trapeze for 3 years, and is a trapeze instructor, catcher, and performer at Streb, Trapeze School New York, as well as Wild Arts Collective and Circus Vision. He's also half of the flying trapeze and static trapeze duo partnership "Basically a Duo". He enjoys being in the air, long walks on the beach, and spending time with his mom.

Team Member

Jen Rish

Jen has been a long time lover of circus and aerial arts. Her aerial addition started in 2009 with flying trapeze. She started aerial silks in 2018 and was immediately devoted. Jen is a mom of two kids who also love aerial and is an assistant Nurse Manager in a busy Emergency Department. She is also a silks instructor at Asana and couldn't be more excited about sharing her passion with others! This will be her first year as a Circus Vision Staff Member.

Alyssa Jayne

Alyssa began her circus life on a whim at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Circa 2015. Despite taking summers off to work/ adventure in Alaska, she has been a dedicated aerial addict ever since! Life brought her to Boise in 2019 where she found new spaces to play and another welcoming aerial/circus community in which to learn, grow, and now also instruct! Alyssa's flying trapeze love is new, but very strong.

Carly Giacinto

An invasive species from California, Carly is happy to be gracing the airways here in Boise. Her specialties include flying pole, chair dance, and flying trapeze. She has performed in variety, burlesque, and aerial shows across state-lines with companies like Cabaret San Jose and Hubba Hubba Revue as well as with Off Center Dance, Pole Line Up, and Alley Repertory Theatre Co. You can catcher her teaching at Ophidia Studio, Fly!Boise, Asana Climbing Gym and now Circus Vision!

Intern

June Manville

June (trapeze artist, aerialist, contortionist, ballet dancer, stilt walker in training) has been training ballet since she was five years old and had two year break when she was eleven to start training circus arts. She has been training circus for three and a half years and ballet for one year after her break. June has performed silks, Lyra, contortion, flying trapeze, duo  Lyra, duo silks, and currently training duo trapeze. She is the National Champion of Aerialympics 2022, All Star silk category. She has trained with Trapeze Las Vegas, Asana Climbing Gym, Fly! Boise, Backstage Dance Center, and Circus Vision. She has interned for Boise Circus Guild and now Circus Vision.

Rig Manager

Katie Ponozzo

Katie (flying trapeze instructor, aerialist, dancer, choreographer) first started flying trapeze in 2015 here in Boise, ID. Throughout the years she has been lucky enough to fly, catch, and coach, across the country from Seattle to New York City.  A long time dancer and silks artist, Katie took to flying trapeze because of the new and unique challenges it provides and all the amazing people she gets to work with!

Lexi Haynes​

Joining us from Brooklyn, New York, Lexi Hynes has been a flying trapeze artist since she was 10 years old. For the past few years, she has been a trapeze coach/instructor primarily at the España-Streb Trapeze Academy, in Brooklyn. A gymnast since she could walk, and an avid reader, she prefers living her life upside down! She is passionate about working with children and attends Brooklyn College, majoring in Early Childhood Education. She is very excited to be a part of the Circus Vision team and looks forward to sharing her passion for trapeze with the Boise community!

Trentyn Tennant

Trentyn has progressed rapidly in circus, beginning  with Duo Trapeze and Flow arts and quickly moving to catching for flying trapeze. His passion for the arts transfers into creative pieces that are embellished in the element of risk, specifically throwing fire and catching flyers. Additionally, Trentyn developed artistry in the profession as a lighting designer. His favorite shows to light have been aerial performances at Asana Climbing Gym and the 2023 Tree Fort Music Festival.

Nick Kraft

Nick is a dynamic performer who spins fire, breathes flames, walks tightropes, and even been known to clown around from time to time. They are dedicated to mastering various flow and fire arts, and currently exploring the world of flying trapeze.When not on stage Nick has a passion for magic of backstage rigging, safety, and ensuring every performance is a captivating and fun experience.

Senora Loop

Senora "Siren" Loop (she/they) began her aerial journey over a decade ago at a small studio in Bloomington, Indiana, where she then went on to teach, perform, and manage the aerial department at several studios in her hometown. Senora has travelled from coast to coast performing, teaching and managing aerial departments. Senora is compassionate, energetic, knowledgable coach and performer with a background in therapeutic exploration, as well as ample experience working with children and animals. She most passionately believes in utilizing fitness and aerial arts as a way to build confidence in oneself, defy pessimistic and "grounded" mentalities, and improve both physical and mental well- being.
